Beautiful cottage in Friesland

Our wooden cottage is located in the Southwest of Friesland, in a forest and close to the IJsselmeer and Slotermeer. If you enjoy nature, water sports or just want to have a relaxing holiday with your family or friends, you will love our place. Please note that in the summer holiday season (July and August), we only accept bookings from Saturday to Saturday. Our house is not suitable for groups or multiple families. The cottage has a large garden (1000m2) located in a forest, with a sand pit for kids, a small play house and a swing. There is a small shed with 2 adult bikes and a couple of childrens bikes and a BBQ. The house has two main bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. There is an open attic room with an additional double bed. In the holiday periods, rentals are only possible from saturday to saturday for a full week. The beds can be made for EUR 10,-- per person, or you can bring your own sheets. Please let us know if you want the beds made when booking (this cost is not included in the AirBnB quote) You have access to the entire house We are available via telephone, should you need any assistance. This is a beautiful region: slightly undulating with nice forests. The house is ~2km from the IJsselmeer and 5km from the Slotermeer. There is a nice village at walking distance with a good bakkery and a couple of shops. There is a bus stop with regular service at 10 min walking distance. Free parking for 2 cars. Several bikes available which can be used. Rent a bike available in Oudemirdum.
