Our renovated 2nd Fl "Artist Apartment" is above the "Current Reflections-Fine Arts" Gallery in the cozy little fishing village known a Wachapreague, Virginia. A peaceful village known for fishing, hunting, kayaking, birding, & painting the marsh. We have Off-Street Parking for 1 vehicle on the Eastside of the Artist Apartment, behind the Town Hall and between the Firehouse on High Street. You'll see the Yellow driveway & Brick walk way. Please Don't park on the Westside - this is private. You'll find the furnishing very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed for 6 and the bedrooms very flexible. In Late 2021 we added access to the Low Roof Deck, Sunning, Dining, Cooking, Partial Cover with Outdoor TV & Fridge - Fully Operational Mid-January 2022. Guest of the Artist Apartment are able to use the primary entrance and the back of the Art Gallery. We share the entrance as we occupy the 1st floor and you have all the privacy of the 2nd floor We like to communicate with our guest as well as give them independent living without interruption. In the event of a question or concern we like to be proactive. What makes Wachapreague unique is the pace, the beautiful panoramic views and the local people that surround a town of 203 great conversationalist. Getting around is mostly by car. Bicycling is encouraged. There are Water Taxis to the Barrier Islands for Shelling & Birding The Island House Restaurant is 100 yards from the Amazing Artist Apartment, even more amazing are the Frozen "Orange Crushes" and Fried Flounder. You can rent a Kayak within steps of the Artist Apartment . There are Eco-Tours for Bird Watching and Water Taxis to Cedar & Parramore Barrier Islands for Shelling. Dawson Shoals offers a beach for all ages between Cedar & Parramore.
