Lovely room in beautiful Berwick-upon-Tweed town. Walking distance from shops, train station, tourist attractions, beach and the golf course. The bedroom on offer is a single bedroom with a pullout bed that turns into a double, the price is for a single room so please don’t expect to have the same standard of a double room for the price paid. Towels, hairdryer, bedding provided - bring your own toiletries. Note: Gingie our friendly cat and Pandora our rascal Labrador are part of our family. PLEASE NOTE: the price is for a SINGLE bedroom with pullout bed that turns into a double. The price is for a single bedroom occupancy but happy to accommodate a couple sharing the pullout bed AT NO EXTRA COST as long as you understand that this is completely out of kindness as you are only paying for a single person’s occupancy. PLEASE, keep your expectations realistic that this is ideally a single room hence the price as double rooms in town will cost you more! Kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Towels provided but please, bring your own toiletries Train station, town centre, local shops and tourist attractions, the landscape is the best mixture between country and sea. Nearby tourist attractions includes Holy Island of Lindisfarne causeway, Alnwick Castle (home to Harry Potter inspired events), Duddo standing stones (north Northumberland own Stonehenge), Bamburgh Castle ( Anglo-Saxon fortification - Last Kingdom novel inspired and Netflix series, and many other films), Chillingham Castle ( the most haunted castle in UK), Cheviot Hills, St Abbs ( Transformers - New Asgard), Lindisfarne Islands, Northumberland/ Scottish Borders beautiful coastal path, 60 miles away from either Edinburgh and Newcastle. Public transport available a few metres from the house. Parking available on the street in front of the house. Walking distance from train station is less than 10 minutes, total distance: 0.4 miles Pets in the house: 1 ginger cat and one mischievous Labrador (Chico 🐱 & Pandora 🐶)
