It shares the grounds and facilities with its sister property 'The Hayloft', situated 20 metres away, which also sleeps four and can be booked together for two families or friends groups. The Grain Store has a log burning stove and plenty of wood can be found in the wood stack adjacent to the property. It has its own courtyard, with garden chairs and table, where you can enjoy your breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. If you enjoy a barbecue, there is one available for your use during your stay. Enjoy relaxing in the private courtyard or take a stroll through the woodland where an abundance of wildlife can be seen. Watch the deer or look for the fish in the lake, its a delightful retreat, whatever the season. From this Norfolk holiday home, there are ample walking, fishing and cycling opportunities, whilst a 25 minutes drive brings you to the popular seaside resort of Southwold or the more secluded beach, Covehithe. The small, pretty market town of Beccles is just 10 minutes drive and has excellent amenities. Whilst the historic city of Norwich is a 30 minute drive renowned for its architecture and vibrancy. Norwich is a glorious place to visit, with numerous restaurants, cinemas and the Theatre Royal. It is served by all of the major high street stores and has attractive bustling lanes housing a multitude of colourful independent shops. Norfolk’s best kept secret is Gorleston Beach, a 15 minute drive away or if you want a larger resort then visit neighbouring Great Yarmouth. With numerous attractions in the area including nearby boating centres, areas to fish or bird watch and access to the Norfolk Broads, it will delight at any time of the year. There is a railway station in Haddiscoe with direct access to Norwich and Lowestoft.
