Gypsy and Shepherds Hut in The Chilterns
A romantic getaway, in the heart of the Chiltern hills. The Gypsy Caravan and Shepherds Hut accommodates one couple who want to escape from the stresses of everyday life. Breathtaking views, walks to country pubs, a roll top bath, and a fire pit.....all on your own, Heaven! The whole space is uniquely your own, there are no other caravans/shepherds huts at the location. The Location is completely private, with just miles of views and over looked by no one. A very comfortable 4ft double bed with handmade mattress is located in the cosy gypsy caravan, and a fully equipped and modern yet authentic shepherds hut is your kitchen and bathroom, complete with full size fridge and new full size gas cooker with oven. There is a roll top bath and an old Belfast sink, a kitchen table and 2 chairs. The toilet is located separately. There is a picnic table for outside dining and a fire pit with outside chairs and cooking equipment. A small supply of logs and charcoal are provided and more can be purchased if needed. The whole site is on mains electricity and water with an immersion heater. The whole space is your own, it is surrounded by a livestock fence. However bear in mind this is a working sheep farm. There is always someone available down at the farmhouse if needed. A friendly rural neighbourhood, with lots of lovely places to eat locally. O.S maps and an information folder can be found in the caravan, and we're happy to give advice on places to visit. Car parking is available on site, remember to take the provided directions to the farm as Sat Nav only gets you to the village. Henley-on-thames is the nearest railway station and then a taxi is approximately 6 miles from there, it is also a pleasant walk! This listing is most suitable for couples. Regrettably there are no pets or children allowed as it is a working farm, and the gypsy caravan is authentic and will get damaged.
