Captain’s Quarters with sea view! Dog friendly!

This ground floor apartment with panoramic sea views is something we all need to experience. It’s set upon a nature reserve called blackberry hills/ Harton Downhill and overlooks The Leas which is a national trust beauty spot. Ideal for walkers, nature lovers, bird watchers, photographers, artists or simply anyone who wants a great coastal stay. With endless coastline all accessible within walking distance there’s something for everyone. A very family and dog friendly town. You will enter via the front entrance into the open plan living area where there’s a large seating area with a large sofa and cuddle chair, a dining area with kitchen and breakfast bar. There is a door leading to the bathroom where there’s a toilet, sink and large shower cubicle. A further door leads to a double bedroom with a Chaise Lounge that is almost like a single bed suitable for a child. You have access to the whole apartment via the front access. Any questions please ask and I will try and help and soon as possible. I live in the upstairs apartment so if I’m not working, myself or my partner aim to help you with your stay in any way possible. Parking available at the back of the property or on the coast road. Quiet residential street with panoramic views of the South Shields coastline. Views of St Mary’s lighthouse and Tynemouth priory. You can walk out of the property and down the little hill and there’s bus stops for both ways north and south. It’s approximately a 5 minute walk to the famous Marsden beach where you can witness the breathtaking historical site of Marsden Rock and have refreshments in the bar and restaurant cave of the Marsden Grotto. There’s miles and miles of coastal walks and there’s a National trust information point about 500meters from the apartment where you can get help with any tourist information. The fairground, parks and city centre is at the end of the coast road (north bound) there’s a bus stop about 100meters from the apartment that will get you there in about 5 minutes or it’s about a 20 minute stroll 1 mile in distance. There’s plenty cycling paths on your doorstep. And also plenty taxi companies in the area. You can also venture south bound up the coast road and visit Souter lighthouse and Sunderland and Roker beaches, parks, bars and restaurants. This is a dog friendly apartment so that you can enjoy miles and miles of coastal walks. Most bars and restaurants in the area are all dog friendly. There is a dog fee of £10 per night per dog which is payable upon check out. A doggy box is provided, just please let us know if your bringing a dog on your travels before check in. Please be respectful to our home and neighbours. We are very much dog lovers but please only bring your dogs if they are well behaved and trained, please no excessive barking. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the apartment for any period of time. Dogs can get stressed in unknown surroundings when left and can behave out of character and become destructive. No smoking 🚭 is allowed on the property, if you do smoke or vape, please stand past the gate at the front. My mum lives upstairs and has lung problems, Please don’t allow any smoke to go into her upstairs windows thank you. Thank you.
