The Summer House: Tranquility and Peace.

In the historic village of Badby next to the famous bluebell woods, you will find this tranquil cabin in Charlotte and Andrew's garden. With an abundance of walks on the doorstep, it is a short stroll to the local pub. Serving food and amazing cocktails, The Maltsters is owned by Merlin, the barman from First Dates. The fabulous Fawsley Hall Hotel is 1 mile away through the woods, or 2.5 miles by road, and there are many other pubs in the surrounding villages. The summer house is a one-off, with comfort and style very much in mind. A compact tiled bathroom with a large shower, bi-fold doors opening onto a large private deck with comfortable chairs to sit and relax in after a day out and about. The kitchen area has a combination microwave oven, a hob, fridge and dishwasher, and the cosy sleeping area with a feature pallet wood wall has internet charging sockets and reading lights. For guests not wishing to share a bed there is a double sofa bed. Please note that wifi is not always great, but should run at 13 mbps minimum. Guests have unrestricted access to the summer house , with exclusive use of the large decking area. We are happy to welcome you and answer any questions about the local area. You are free to come and go independently, but we are usually on hand if you need anything. Don’t think that there is no beautiful countryside either side of the M1! A quiet village location, we are close to many walks, including the Nene way and the Jurassic way, as well as country houses such as Canons Ashby. Oxford and Leamington Spa are both less than an hour away by car. We are also at the centre of the canal network which offers further scenic walking routes. A car is required, and we offer a dedicated parking space near the entrance. Good selection of local taxis and country bus service to nearby towns. We have two friendly cats who are not allowed in the summer house, but may creep in if given opportunity!
