Coastal Retreat near Cleveland Way & Hidden Bays

Come and relax in this modern minimalist 3 bedroomed end terrace warm and quiet retreat with an amazing array of different walks from coastal to country nearby. Well behaved, house trained Dogs are welcome (additional charge see house rules). Hopefully you'll sleep like a log. To make it as cost friendly as possible we offer an option of bring your own bed linen (duvets and pillows are provided) or there is an option of the linen service (see house rules for more details). This is my home when I'm not away working. It is comfortable and welcoming and not a show house which makes you relax in the subtlely decorated surroundings. There are a few personal things here but won't affect your stay. In the kitchen, you will find the cutlery is in the dining table draw on the left hand side. Table cloths and extra place mats are in the sideboard in the lounge. If you need to know anything about the house please do not hesitate to contact me. Please respect my place and adhere the Government Guidelines for Covid-19 by washing hands on entering the house. Complimentary anti bacterial liquid soap is provided in the kitchen and bathroom for your use. Thank you You can use all spaces. My house is the last one at the top of the street which makes it quite. it is a family street so you do get children playing outside during the day. It is really quiet at night. There are allotments beyond the end of the Street and there is a cockerel that lives on there who you can sometimes here. It doesn't bother me as it's a mix of country and seaside. There is a bus service the X4 which goes up and down the coast from Middlesborough to Whitby. There is also a new bus service called TeesFlex (covers Redcar & Cleveland) which is being subsidised by Stagecoach so really cheap fares. You down load the App, register with them and book and pay online. Nearest stop is called Loftus Market Place right outside the Co-Op. Times by bus approx 20 mins to Saltburn and approximately 35 mins to Whitby (only the X4 goes this far south not TeesFlex). Driving takes about 20 mins to Whitby but parking is expensive and busy. There is parking on North Crescent with about 10 minute walk along the cliff top, through the famous whale bones and then down into town. There is a place called Ruswarp just outside Whitby with free on road parking and takes approx 20 mins to walk into Whitby along the footpath beside the train track which can be found by the bridge. Here there are free public toilets, pleasure boats, The Riverside Cafe and Steam Railway. The parking is on street outside the property as this is a terraced house. There is parking in the garage by arrangement which is approx 20ft to the side of the house. There is a play park within 1 minutes walk of the house. On the main road, 500 metres away is a Co-OP, bakery, chemist, pizza takeaway, Chinese. within 10 minutes walk there is a mccolls, fish and chip shop - lovely too, fruit & veg shop.
