Situated along the A271 just outside the village of Herstmonceux a warm welcome awaits you at our beautifully converted open planned lodge. Ideal for a short break, self catering holiday, business or while attending a family event. Our lodge sleeps 2 people and has a fully equipped kitchen and en suite bathroom. Self contained open planned lodge with secure parking, private decking area with table and chairs overlooking fields and woodland. Free Wifi. Travel cot and high chair available. Open all year round. Please note there is one queen sized bed in the bedroom/lounge area which can be split into twin beds. There is not a separate bedroom. Our lodge is accessed by electric gates and is totally private and self contained with a decking area containing table and chairs overlooking fields and woodland. We are available when needed Privacy when required We are about a mile outside of the village of Herstmonceux which has a country pub serving food. Please note you will need a car to get there as there is no footpath. There are also two restaurants which serve French and Indian food. We are not far from Herstmonceux Castle and Observatory and Science centre and there are plenty of National Trust properties in the locality. We are on a bus route so it's easy to get to either battle, Hastings, Hailsham, Eastbourne. There are train stations at Battle (15 mins) drive and Polegate (15 mins) drive. Hailsham has an Art Deco pavilion cinema, supermarkets, and leisure centre with swimming pool, bowling and soft play area. 2 Golf courses within 15 minutes drive, numerous country walks and cuckmere and seven sisters country park ideal for walking and cycling. There are many beaches within easy reach. Ample parking, Shed available to store bikes.
