Struan's Cottage - Pet friendly

Struan's Cottage is a cozy stone clad thatched cottage on Blackbrook Farm, only 8km out of Underberg. It serves as a convenient base to explore the Southern Drakensberg. The cottage comprises a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen, separate bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and has granite counter tops. (work space and a dining area). There is a TV with DSTV. T&C's apply for pets. Blackbrook is a small working farm with nice views over the surrounding farmland and onto the mountains. Enjoy the tranquility of the country. Provided are outside seating, a braai, shady trees and a large, grassed, fully enclosed garden for children/pets. Guests have total access to the cottage and fenced garden during their stay. Parking in the garden under the trees (no undercover or enclosed parking provided). Guests may also walk on the farm (establish the boundaries first please) and fish in the dam (catch and release) We do not have a reception facility. Guests are requested to go directly to the cottage - it will be open. If late arrival (after 8pm) please to communicate with Krissi. The neighborhood is farming country and the ideal place to get away from the city rat-race. It is a good stop over for travelers who wish to do the legendary Sani Pass into Lesotho. We can book guests a tour up Sani Pass prior to their arrival, with an acredited tour operator - please request when making the reservation - passports essential. Alternatively we recommend Major Adventures and guests may book directly themselves.
