2 bedroom guest apartment in charming farm

We are a sheep farm between Paris and the ocean, about 1.5 hours from the coast and 1 hour from the capitol. We're situated in a small village nestled in picturesque countryside with the river Avre running along our fields. Our guesthouse has a private entrance, fully equipped kitchen and a small private garden. You are welcome to bring your pets and if your dogs want to try agility or herding, or maybe brush up on some basic obedience, we are licensed dog trainers and happy to help. Our guest-apartment has 2 bedrooms that each sleeps two persons: one double room and one room with bunk-beds. You have your own kitchen/dining room, but share toilet and a bathroom with shower. The guest house is all new and fully equipped with stove, oven, micro, fridge, freezer, coffeemaker, toaster, satellite TV, DVD player and about 100 movies. There is a fast wireless internet connection (WIFI). Please leave the guest house clean. If you don't want to bother with cleaning, we are happy to do it for an additional charge of 30 euro per stay. We are happy to provide linen and towels at an additional fee or 10 euro per person and stay. We are only an hour away from Paris, with Versailles on the way, and within an hour you also have Monet's garden and the charming medieval cities of Verneuil sur Avre and Chartres. During the spring and summer months there are small village fairs and flea-markets in the villages around us most every weekend. There are many nature areas and parks around us suitable for walking, jogging and bicycling, and for those more adventurous, there are several activity attractions and parks near us. If you are interested, you are welcome to participate in the farm work and see our sheepdogs at work; they have been many times in the French team and represented France in both the European and world championships. Depending on the season, there may also be lambs that need bottle feeding and puppies to play with. The farm is also an active dog training center with several licensed and very experienced dog trainers. If you and your dog want to try herding, agility, just brush up on the basics or maybe work on some specific issue, we are happy to help! Since this is a working farm, please do not go into the fields or farm buildings without checking with us first. Also please keep children and dogs under supervision at all times. We are sorry that this site is not suitable for people who suffer from animal allergies and if you have severe asthma or pollen allergies, this is probably not a suitable accommodation for you. If you have a disability, please understand that this is a working farm so there is no concrete, just dirt (quite often turned into mud), the buildings are old and not adapted for wheelchair access and there are animals everywhere. If you would like to come and stay here anyway, we are very happy to have you! Please let us know how we can make your stay here as enjoyable and comfortable as possible! :-) You are welcome to use our garden; the sun-chairs are very comfortable, everything is set up for your BBQ under the cherry trees and should you feel like being more active, our dogs are always ready to play with you. To walk in the other fields near the farm, swim in the river or have a look in the lambing shed, please check with us first so that it doesn't interfere with the work of the farm. It is highly recommended to come with your own car. There is a bus station and a train station only a few hundred meters from the farm but the local trains only run a couple of times per day and the buses not much more. This is a farm. There are animals with fur and wool, there is nature with dust, mud, grass and leaves. With nature just outside your door-step, some will inevitably find its way inside. If you are looking for spotless, dust-free living quarters and paved access, please do not reserve with us. If your idea of heaven is a sprawling farm with friendly animals set in a lush garden in a picturesque village in a peaceful valley of fields and forests and rivers, then you'll love it here. :-)
