We do not take children/infants or pets. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled spring water. THERE ARE NO KITCHEN FACILITIES but there is crockery and cutlery. Freesat TV, chest of drawers and blanket box. Towels and shower gel are provided in the en-suite shower room which has a heated towel rail and again, underfloor heating. Situated on the outskirts of historic Burford and is well placed for easy access to Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham, famous for National Hunt Racing as well as the music and literary festivals. There are numerous, hidden Cotswold village gems to discover, along with walks, one of which is to the pretty Rose and crown pub in Shilton. Conveniently placed if attending a wedding at Stone Barn, Aldsworth, approximately 6 miles away, or Oxleaze Barn, approximately 5 miles away. The stables are situated right at the end of a no through road, and guests have their own gated access, with plenty of gravelled, private, off-road parking, south-facing areas which overlook the fields. There is storage for bicycles and wellies. It is self check-in with a lock box. Stratford-upon-Avon is approximately a 45 minute drive away. There are also the beautiful villages of The Slaughters and Coln Valley to visit. A car is essential to travel around the Cotswolds, as public transport is in short supply! Should you need a taxi from The Stables, there are several local firms and it is advisable to book in advance, numbers can be supplied once a booking has been confirmed.
