Genuine Swedish cottage

This little cottage (stuga) is next to our main house close to the center of Södertälje. It is built 1847 but with modern facilities. There is only one room, it has a sofa bed and a simple extra bed. There is central heating + a heater. The kitchen includes a microwave, a small stove and fridge/freezer. You have your independence, but we are at hand if you should need anything. In the summer you can sit out in the garden and enjoy the sun. It is an old house, so it has some bruises, but at the same time it is genuinely Swedish like in the old days. The kitchen was renovated at some point so it has a modern sink, a small stove/oven and a fridge/freezer. In the living/bed room the ceiling is low and there is a fire place. There is a sofa bed and a simple extra bed. We can arrange the sofa bed so it is either a double bed (140 cm) or a single bed (90 cm), let us know if you have any preference. The extra bed is a single bed and can be folded away. This is a small house next to our house. It is yours for as long as you stay. As we live in the house just next to the stuga, we will be at hand for anything you need, but leave you alone when you want. One of us will welcome you when you arrive and answer any questions you may have. Or, if you arrive very late, we will let you know how you can get to the key and we will then meet you the next day. It is a quiet neighbourhood, approx 15 minutes walk from the center of Södertälje and Tom Tits or AstraZeneca. The nearest tiny shop is approx 5 minutes walk from the house, some better shops are 10 - 15 minutes walk away. A pizza place and a greek restaurant are also 5 minutes away. If you are into geocaching, I bet Södertälje is one of the densest geocache areas in Sweden. Nearest bus stop (Frejagatan) is 5 minutes away. To go into Stockholm it is easiest to go by bus + train (Östertälje or Södertälje C) or bus + bus. Either way it takes about an hour.
