PALMER’S ROCK is situated along a spectacular seafront and guest have a 180° unspoilt breaker view of the warm Indian Ocean only 50 metres from the large sea facing deck. LEISURE:The roofed deck allows for all weather conditions and is undoubtedly the focal point of the house. Our guests sunbathe on the deckchairs in the year round warm sub-tropical weather or the whole family gather around the seating area for good conversations with good wine or enjoy al fresco meals prepared on the gas barbeque. There is also a wood/ charcoal grill in the garden adjacent to the deck . Watch the occasional whales of dolphins pass by or to take a well deserved nap from the comfortable chairs on the deck. ACTIVITES: The reputable Glenmore Beach is only at 5 minutes walking distance through a beautiful conservation area alongside the sea front. The stranded historical Nightingale Shipwreck (1933) is just off Glenmore Beach .PALMER’S ROCK is ideally positioned along a spectacular 120 km coastline where you can discover the numerous golden beaches, countless nature - based excursions or fishing-, sporting- and golf –activities( 11 golf courses to choose from) . Or even pay a visit to the Wild Coast Sun. There are so many activities you may run out of time. BEDROOMS :PALMER'S ROCK sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms with a mediterranian / nautical interiour. The main bedroom is sea facing and has a double bed. The Second bedroom has two single beds. The 3rd cabin style bedroom sleeps 2 and has an interiour befitting a ships cabin. All linen is provided and of high quality. Our guests affirm to waking up to the soothing sound of the waves and watching spectacular sunrises with their favourite brew of coffee and rusks from the deck. BATHROOMS:There are 2 identical Bathrooms each with a shower, toilet and basin all with modern fittings. All towels are provided .Guests are requested to bring their own toiletries and beach towels. KITCHEN:The kitchen has modern fittings with a marble working surface and kitchen utensils and glassware. This include cutlery, crockery, a microwave , pour over coffee maker, toaster, sandwich press, kettle, steam iron and ironing board as well as pots and pans. There are 2 fridge /freezers, a stove with electric oven and a gas hob with extractor fan. As an extra bonus the kitchen is fitted with a washing machine and dishwasher. Guests are requested to bring their own washing detergents etc. DINING ROOM: The dining room is furnished with a dining room table, buffet , salad bowls and a variety of place mats. LOUNGE AND TV The lounge equally has a nautical / mediterranian atmosphere. There is a Smart TV in the lounge with HDMI Cable and Satellite Dish Cable. GUESTS ARE REQUESTED TO BRING THEIR OWN MAIN DECODER. We do not have Wi-Fi, but guests usually bring their own modem. NO LOADSHEDDING HERE! The house is equipped with a solar / invertor for essential electricity supply and a gas cooking hob and gas barbeque for the comfort of guests during power outages. BABIES: For those guests with smaller children there is a bay bath, camping cot and potty available on request. PET FRIENDLY: We are pet friendly subject to previous arrangements. Animals may not sleep on any furniture or beds. Guests are required to bring the own animal bedding. Additional cleaning costs may be charged in this respect. PARKING AND SAFETY: The house is equiped with an alarm sytem and effective lighting right through the evenings. There is an effective Security Company available 24/7. Parking is in the driveway next to the house. The property is fenced. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: A cleaning service is available at a reasonable fee. IMPORTANT NOTICE: PALMER'S ROCK is NOT a weekend party venue. Guests who behave unruly and cause excessive noise will be required to vacate the premises immediately. LAST BUT NOT LEAST: 1.PALMER'S ROCK creates job opportunities and the resulting income for at least 14 local families. 2. We contract to a management company to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. 3.
