The Lodge Little Longstone

Detached cottage on edge of picturesque Peak District village. 5 minutes walk to 2 excellent local pubs and to Monsal trail for walking and cycling. Amazing views with real fires and a real welcome The Lodge is a detached property which has fantastic views of the Peak District. We have recently added a 2 storey extension to make the most of the amazing views.The accommodation is self catering and the owners live next door. We are usually on hand to give help and advice but alternatively we can leave you to enjoy your holiday. We are very lucky to have 2 great pubs within 5 minutes walk. The Packhorse is just down the road and serves excellent food as well as Thornbridge beers. They have a quiz night every Thursday with a bingo twist at the end. It is very popular and you would be advised to book. The Monsal Head hotel at the top of the road which looks over Monsal Dale has an excellent stable bar which serves good food and real ales There is infrequent public transport available but most of our guests come to walk or cycle. To visit the wider Peak District it is advisable to have a car.
