POSTRELAIS ARDENNES "Vintage"

The POSTRELAIS has a long and eventful history dating back to the time of Napoleon Bonaparte. In 2018/2020, the buildings were completely renovated and redesigned. Today, there are rental and holiday flats on the estate, a shop with regional products and a small restaurant. The flats are new, equipped with all comforts, towels are provided, the comfortable beds are made. Everything is ready for a warm welcome! Our ground floor flat "Vintage", originally part of the old residential building, is characterised above all by the approximately 70cm thick walls, which divide the flat into the 4 rooms (living room and kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bathroom). Characteristic for this part of the building is the classical elegance combined with modern design and high living comfort. As part of the core renovation of the building, this flat was also renovated in 2018-2020. Of course, we took care to preserve important details, such as the original slate door frame. The entrance area is decorated with rustic floor tiles, in the living room there is a parquet floor made of solid oak and in parts you can still admire the original floor with the local bluestone. The quarry stone wall also bears witness to the enormous skill of the craftsmen of the time. With the renovation, the most modern technology was installed to offer you the highest living comfort: fully equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, ventilation system, burglar and fire alarm system. A certain "vintage" flair is provided by the carefully selected furniture, such as a Chesterfield sitting area, combined with restored furniture from long ago. The bathroom also meets the stylistic requirements we set for the whole flat. It remains to mention that the beds are equipped with high-quality pocket spring core reversible mattresses by Joka, so that your sleeping comfort is guaranteed. Outside there are parking spaces/carport available. In the garden there is a petanque piste and children's swing&slide. The POSTRELAIS is very close to the RAVel cycle path network. Parking, carport and garden can be used freely. There is a lockable shelter for your bicycles. The indoor sauna/wellness area is available as an option. Our HOFLADEN and the KAFFEESTUBE look forward to your visit. A doctor's practice is also located in the building. Our grocery shop, the HOFLADEN, is open every day (except Wednesdays). Our staff is available to help and advise you. Outside opening hours, we can be reached by telephone. Oudler is a village in the Belgian Eifel, which belongs to the municipality of Burg-Reuland in the German-speaking Community. The village has a grocery/bakery, a café, a restaurant, a medical centre and a pharmacy. Hiking trails, cycle tracks and mountain bike trails are very popular. East Belgium is the holiday region that offers a lot of variety and closeness to nature in a relatively small area. At the intersection of the language and cultural regions of Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, the offer is surprisingly wide. The POSTRELAIS is very close to the RAVel cycle path network. There is a bus stop opposite the POSTRELAIS. The nearest train station is 10km away. A shuttle service is optionally available. Sufficient parking spaces and a carport are available on the premises of the POSTRELAIS.
