The Hen House

The Cottage offers a light and airy refurbished bedroom with ensuite facilities, a traditional lounge with brick fire place and log burner and a small, well equipped kitchen. There is a small enclosed garden which is south facing. A welcome basket with tea, coffee, bread, milk and free range eggs. Towels, bed linen and hairdryer. Toiletries to include soap and shower gel. Happy to try and accommodate any other requirements. I literally live next door and, therefore, am available to answer questions and give general advice about Epperstone and the surrounding area. Epperstone has some lovely walks and a welcoming, award-winning pub serving good quality food. The most recent addition to the village is Bumbles the teashop offering breakfast, great coffee, freshly baked bread and tempting cakes. There is a limited bus service available from the village. Nottingham is easily accessible by car, Southwell, a pleasant market town, is a 10 minute car journey and Newark about 20 minutes. There are some lovely walks within the village and two local garden centres who are worth a visit.
