Pet friendly Farm stay in amazing countryside
Clappers Farm is a 17th century farmhouse located on a quiet country road on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. Set in 35 acres of its own land then surrounded by further farmland, there are various outbuildings mainly used for stabling . Silchester Brook meanders through the property and attracts wildlife from kingfishers and swallows to deer. There is a huge network of picturesque footpaths and cycle routes accessible from the front gate of the farm. Dogs and horses are welcome. Pets are welcome, dogs are £20 each per stay payable on arrival, the spacious garden is fully fenced and there are stables and paddocks if you would like to bring your horse price on application, I am a qualified equestrian coach so if you wanted a lesson with your horse that can be arranged. One end of the house is available with its own access via the front, side and patio doors. Downstairs the accommodation provides a large sitting/dining room with a sofa, TV, and dining room table that seats 6 comfortably the patio doors lead to a private patio and garden, a kitchen with oven/microwave/grill, hob, kettle, toaster and washing machine, a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and wash basin, a cosy snug with a log burner. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, the master bedroom has a large en-suite containing a toilet, handbasin, bath and shower, the second bedroom can be set up as either a twin or super king, the third bedroom is a twin room, there is an additional wc with hand basin for use by the second and third bedrooms at the present time shower and bath facilities are accessed through the master bedroom. I live on site so I am available for any questions or queries. Within walking distance is the famous roman remains of Silchester. The train stations of Bramley and Mortimer are between 5 and 10 minutes from the farm and give easy access to London (Waterloo or Paddington) and Winchester. Windsor, Ascot and Newbury are easily accessible by train or car. Some of the local attractions include: Beale Wildlife Park Wellington Country Park Wellington Riding The Vyne National Trust Basildon Park National Trust Thorpe Park Chessington World of Adventures The Hawk Conservancy Legoland The Living Rainforest This is a rural area the closest public transport is by train, the station is 5 mins away by car.
