Comfortable double bedroom and a private bathroom in a detached Victorian townhouse. We are within walking distance of the town centre and the station in a quiet, popular location close to a magnificent Georgian park, The Walks. There is a TV in the room and tea and coffee making facilities. There are both stairs and a platform lift to the first floor and most of the house is wheelchair accessible. Continental breakfast is provided. We have space for private parking and a south-facing garden to relax in. Guests are welcome to use our living room and kitchen. We are happy to chat with our guests and advise on the area, but will leave to their own devices if preferred. Our house is in a quiet road of Victorian, Edwardian and early twentieth century houses We have a large garden and plenty of privacy, but we are only a fifteen minute walk to the centre of town. King’s Lynn is an old market town with several listed buildings and some well-preserved streets of historic houses. In contrast, we have plenty of shops, restaurants and bars easily accessible via a short walk through the beautiful park at the end of our road. If work brings you to King’s Lynn, the College is a ten minute walk away and the hospital and Industrial Estates a ten minute drive. It is a ten minute walk to the station, with trains going to Ely, Cambridge and London. You can also pick up the Coastliner bus service and visit the beautiful North Norfolk coast. The Queen’s Sandringham House is a twenty minute drive away, with the coast a little further on. There are beautiful National Trust stately homes and magnificent bird-watching a thirty minute drive away.
