Beaufort Lodge - private lodge in tranquil setting

In the heart of the South Downs National Park, Beaufort Lodge is an immaculate, self contained lodge in the garden of our property in the ancient market town of Petersfield. Entry is through its own front door leading to the main living area with king size bed, TV, settee, fridge, WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities. The separate bathroom is situated at the end of the living area with a walk in double length shower unit, sink and toilet. Guests are welcome to use the Lodge's patio area. Beaufort Lodge is a spacious, stand alone lodge in the garden of our property, set in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Ideal for walking and cycling or just a great opportunity to chill out and relax. Very close to Goodwood. If you are attending a wedding at the Tithe Barn we are only 5 minutes away by car. There is private, off road parking adjacent to the lodge with easy level access. You have complete privacy whilst staying at Beaufort Lodge but I am always happy to assist you if help is needed! The historic market town centre of Petersfield is a five minute walk. The town has several good restaurants (The famous JSW restaurant is less than 7 minutes walk). There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday and a farmer's market the first Sunday of every month held on The Square. The Petersfield Heath and Lake are a 10 minute walk where you can feed the ducks and hire rowing boats and canoes. We are also ideally located for cycling, walking, sightseeing and the golf enthusiast, or simply for those wishing to enjoy the local countryside and explore the rich and renowned history of the area. Petersfield is a beautiful market town in the South Downs National Park. Places of interest nearby include Chichester, Winchester, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard (including the amazing HMS Victory and Mary Rose) as well as Petworth and the South Downs. We are ideally situated for all events at Goodwood which is less than a thirty minute drive and Cowdray Park which is a twenty minute drive. Petersfield is on the main train line to London Waterloo (65mins) or the South Coast. The train station is a 5 minute walk away.
