Village setting on the edge of the Peak District with excellent train links to Manchester. Spacious 2 bed bungalow with large lounge, separate dining room, 2 beds (1 en-suite) & family bathroom. Double sofa bed in the lounge. Delightful private garden & off road parking. Ideal for walkers (trains to Edale etc) & cyclists (Middlewood Way). Walking distance to Marple village with its individual shops, restaurants, theatre, cinema & Marple's 16 canal lock flight, Brabyns Park & the Roman Lakes The living room and separate dining room are large spaces, unusual in a bungalow. Hard floors in all the living spaces - suitable for wheelchairs - the two bedrooms are carpeted. The entire bungalow and garden is assigned for guests exclusively. Only the garage and rear shed are not accessible. If I am away either of my daughters can meet and greet all guests in person to ensure they are comfortable with all aspects of the bungalow. Once the guests are happy with their surroundings and facilities, they will be left in peace for the duration of their stay! If they need anything at all, mine and my daughter's mobile telephone details are provided. Self check in is also an option for my guests. Hawke's Reach is situated in the beautiful countryside surrounding Marple. The bungalow is situated in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood just a few minutes walk from Rose Hill railway station and the centre of Marple. There are a variety of easy/moderate/challenging walks and/or cycling opportunities right from the doorstep! The bungalow is ideally situated for the centre of Marple and a wide range of country walks from the doorstep. Also, convenient (within walking distance) train links into the centre of Manchester or for keen walkers/sightseers direct trains to Edale, Hope Valley and on to Sheffield. A great base for cyclists too. Parking is free at Rose Hill and Marple railway stations. Shopping in Marple is convenient - parking is free in Asda car Park (2 hours maximum) which is also ideal for the small shopping centre. The bungalow and garden are ideal for those with mobility issues as well as families with young children. There are no stairs and the garden and driveways are flat. Despite the fact that Marple is surrounded by hills and beautiful scenery, the local terrain is flat - from the bungalow right into Marple village and also fully accessible for Rose Hill railway station. For young families, an adjustable high chair is provided as well as a travel cot.
