Your own house in the country close to city life

Brännkärrs torpet is beautifully located on the edge of the community of Knivsta, between Stockholm and Uppsala and close to Stockholm International Airport (Arlanda). The country home is surrounded by forest, fields and pastures with grazing horses. You will rent this nice little cottage, with access to your own hide away garden, with barbeque facilities and parking. We welcome guests from the all parts of the world. The charming house is over 150 years old, and was totally renovated 2005. The house has 3 bedrooms, a living room and a big farm style kitchen. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and WC. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and dish washer. TV is available, but no WiFi. Mobile WiFI works perfectly. The house has central heating and has still the old wood stove and a fire place in the kitchen. There is also a washing machine and a dryer in the house. As our guest you will have access to your own house, with a garden that is secluded yet close to a residential area We are available when needed, and can offer you recommendations on events and excursions in the neighbour area, and in Uppsala and Stockholm. The area of Knivsta has a rich and exiting history, with settlements of great importance since the Stone Age. You can find several historical monuments, from the Iron Age and the Vikings and follow the path of many Swedish Royal Kings.
