A tranquil, secluded two bedroom apartment. It has a lovely private entrance leading off a courtyard in the grounds of a large country . Our home is situated on the edge of a quintessentially English village within easy walking distance of a cozy pub, village green and a 13th century church. You will feel immersed in English Heritage from the moment you arrive...just fabulous! Bedroom suite: Bedroom has double bed, sofa, dressing table, chest of drawers, Smart TV, internet and tea and coffee making facilities. En suite bathroom which includes bath/shower, shampoo, sink and WC. and en suite dressing room has hanging area and shelving. Guests arrive driving down the drive - an avenue of tulip trees and reach the courtyard where you may park your cars. The private entrance to the apartment is accessed from the courtyard. The spiral staircase takes you to the bedroom suite that includes the en suite bathroom and dressing room. Breakfast may also be available by separate arrangement. There is so much to do and many places of interest within easy reach . The cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury and the beautiful market towns of Malborough, Hungerford and Stockbridge are well worth a visit and all within a half hour drive. Stonehenge and and the fabulous gardens at Stour Head are also near by. Local sporting activities include trout fishing , clay pigeon shooting and horse riding (in the village). The house/apartment is 3 miles from the A303 - main road from London to Exeter. Also 3 miles from Andover train station with 2 trains an hour to London (journey time 1 hour 10 mins}. also 3 miles from the Army HQ. Well behaved dogs are welcome! But we ask that they bring their own bed and that they are kept on a lead at al times in the garden, and that their responsible owners clean up after them!! No muddy paws in the house please...dog or human!!
