Cosy summerhouse with great view

Warm and cosy summerhouse in beautiful nature. The house is located on a quiet gravel road overlooking a field. Oroe is only a 1,5 hour drive from the centre of Copenhagen, including a short ferry ride. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and a newly renovated bathroom with shower. 1 master bedroom with a king size bed (160x200), a room (currently our kids room) with a bunkbed (90x190) and a guest room with a single bed (90x200) including pillows and duvets. Please bring bed linens. During the summer the big open kitchen and living room is supplemented by a lovely conservatory with a dining area, day bed and gost armchair. The outside area is very relaxed and filled with activities for kids, including trampolin, 2-3 different types of swings, a shelter to play and sleep in, a family sized hammock and in summer time lots of berry bushes. Also there’s a cosy lounge area on the roofed terrace overlooking the field. A perfect spot for the long summer nights. We will not be on the island during your visit, but will be available by phone or e-mail. The fjord is just down the little road and it is a 5 minute walk to a great spot to go fishing or dipping your feet. The beach is 3 km away and very shallow. Perfect for kids. The newly build swimming area in the habour is 1,5 km away and great for jumping in/swimming in deep water. In addition Oroe offers a variety of activities, including great walks along walking trails all the way around the island, a small zoo and visits to the local speciality shops. Two different ferries offer to take you to Oroe. One departs from Holbaek (zipcode 4300 Holbaek) approximately every 2 hours and takes half an hour. The other ferry departs from Hammer Bakker (zipcode 4050 Skibby) every 20th minute, and last only 6 minutes. Ferry is scheduled to sail from 06:00-24:00. Due to the Covid-19 situation the ferry only accepts creditcard and mobile pay. During the summer it is not allowed to use the outside fire place due to fire hazard.
