The Barn

A recently rebuilt barn in the grounds of the existing owners' house. Fully self-contained and offering comfortable accommodation with full cooking facilities (including a dishwasher) and a large lounge and dining area. It has a spacious bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. Guests can use the garden facilities and there is complimentary tea, coffee and milk. All towels and bed linen are provided. There is a sofa bed if more than 2 people stay. We can also provide a cot for babies. A comfortable and spacious fully modernised and rebuilt barn in a quiet rural setting. There is a TV and DVD with a selection of movies and speakers if you want to connect your tablet etc and listen to music. There is plenty of off-road parking space right next to The Barn which will accommodate two cars comfortably. Guests are welcome to relax in the garden and we also have a BBQ available for guest's use. (Please note the garden is used by the owners too). We can also offer the use of a washing machine and tumble drier. Our guests are left in peace to enjoy their break but the owners are contactable to offer any help or advice if needed. The location is in a quiet village but within easy reach of Cambridge, Huntingdon, the beautiful cathedral city of Ely and the nearby market town of St Ives. There is a bus service in the village with regular buses to St Ives, Huntingdon and Cambridge. There is also a park-and-ride service in St. Ives where a quick trip on the unique guided bus will take you in to the centre of Cambridge in just twenty minutes. There is a superb pub in the village just 200 yards from The Barn where they serve excellent food and drink. There are some lovely walks nearby and an RSPB reserve just two miles away in Needingworth. There is a fast fibre wireless internet connection throughout the property, and the area benefits from a strong mobile phone connection.
