Double bedroom in converted barn with adjacent modern bathroom for your exclusive use, plus use, if desired, of kitchen, living area and garden. Private courtyard setting with parking for 5 cars. 10 mins from EM Airport, M&S depot, Donington Park, M1 and M42 etc. My lovely home was a cowshed for over 400 years! Five years ago it was converted into a 3 bedroomed home retaining original beams and brickwork. It is modern and airy but with a country feel. Your bedroom is at least 10 x 10 with storage space. The bathroom has bath with shower and plenty of space to spread out. I provide towels and bedding. Toast/cereal/fruit/yoghurts/juice on offer for breakfast plus as much tea/coffee/hot choc as you can manage all day. Hemington is a rural oasis surrounded by the 21st century - no public transport but everything you could want is a very short drive/walk away. There is also a single room available if, as a joint booking, you are happy to share the bathroom. I can provide another single bed (ie can sleep a total of four). It is ideal for families therefore. You are welcome to share all of the house apart from my bedroom and en-suite. Kitchen has everything you could need I think. There is plenty of dining space and roomy sitting/TV area. Also very pleasant summerhouse in walled garden. Your guests are welcome by prior agreement. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A SELF-CONTAINED LETTING ARRANGEMENT - you have a room and your own bathroom in the house I live in and share the downstairs with me, it's a bit like a house-share arrangement. I am perfectly sociable but won't impose myself. Happy to just "provide" or alternately accompany you on a walk to The Jolly Sailor for a beer or for a curry in Castle Donington. I'd like you to ask for things you need, rather than go home feeling disappointed. Lovely village feel, views of ruined chapel and equestrian centre, village pub, country walks. No passing traffic save for neighbours' access. Nearby Castle Donington has many pubs, restaurants and shops. No public transport in village. Castle Donington has Skylink buses to EM Airport, Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough and Leicester. Trains 15 mins away at Long Eaton and EM Parkway. M (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) a few minutes away. For those without their own car I can provide lifts where I can by prior arrangement. Space for 6 cars right outside house. Can store your car if you are flying away on business/holiday. Can provide lift to airport (but only have a small car so luggage space limited).
