The Apple Shed @ Rose Cottage

The Apple Shed at Rose Cottage is a luxury stay in the heart of North Yorkshire, easy driving distance to Ripon, Thirsk, Harrogate & York. We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful chic space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Located in the heart of Dishforth Village it is walking distance to the two small local pubs and a five minute drive to the award winning Crab & Lobster restaurant. The space is bright, light and airy, featuring a brand new matt black kitchen, brass kitchen taps, marble tiled bathroom and cosy sitting room and bedroom. Double doors lead to a pretty private garden and seating area equipped with a chiminea for sitting out in the evening with your favourite beverage. Full of charm on the outside but contemporary and stylish on the inside, the Apple Shed provides a picturesque setting with all the comforts of home. The whole of the Apple Shed and outdoor seating area/garden in the main photo are available for sole use during your stay. There is a private drive outside the Apple Shed which is for guest use and which we prefer guests to park on during their stay. From the sloped drive there are three steps up to the front door. We live at Rose Cottage a stones throw away from the Apple Shed. We are very happy to provide any information about the local area or any assistance needed during your stay. Dishforth is a beautiful picturesque village with great access to both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. All the attractions of Harrogate and York are also within easy driving distance. There are also two small local pubs serving drinks and food on selected days. You may see on the map that Dishforth Village is close to Dishforth Airfield, however this was decommissioned in 1992 and the village is very quiet and peaceful. A car is essential for a stay at the Apple Shed.
