You will come through the front door into a small entrance area & then into the lounge area. There is a large traditional country kitchen towards the back which is fully equipped for cosy meals in. Aga not in use however there is a free standing cooker & microwave. Patio seating area to the back of the house with steps up to the garden where you can enjoy the countryside views Diasy Bank is a lovely place to stay as a base for exploring the Peak District National Park or just for enjoying the local rural tranquillity. Situated in the hamlet of Sparrow Pit in the heart of the Peak District, there are views to the front over rolling countryside. To the rear the, vista stretches to Mam Tor and the hills around Castleton, a village ever popular with visitors and walkers, and renowned for its Blue John caves and caverns. The village farm shop is close by and, as well as a number of walks from the door. Nearby are Buxton, Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Lyme Park. The nearest small town, Chapel-en-le Frith, where all shopping can be done, is a short drive away. The spa town of Buxton is a delight with its Opera House, Crescent and Pump Room, and the famous ’Buxton Water’, available straight from the well.
