This holiday house is situated on a small farm (with some animals) owned by the organisation 't Veldzicht (*) in the green surroundings of Beernem (20/30min car drive away from Bruges/Ghent and direct access to hiking-bike trails). It's a cosy house (+pellet stove) with a private terrace and small pond (with cover). On site: bbq, firepit, veggie garden and green house, pizza oven, petanque terrain, a swing (*) 't Veldzicht: offers activities for people with dissabilities The house has an open space concept. Sitting-and dining area, the kitchen and bedroom (with 2 modern single beds) seamlessly connect to one another. Flexibility and connection where key in the design. The sleeping area can be closed off with heavy curtains and one can arrange the area according to personal taste as the beds are on wheels :-). The sitting area offers a 2 persons sofa bed as well. At the centre of the house a pellet stove and colourful armchair draw the attention. All of this giving that extra cosy touch to the space. All windows offer a 'green' view :-). The whole house (including bathroom) is wheelchair accessible. The small farm also offers those extra's that make you really enjoy your holiday in nature. The holiday house is situated in the green surroundings of Beernem and yet it's closeby the town of Beernem with access to stores and the highway (direction Brussels/Ghent or Osten/Bruges). Parking is available in front on the property, close to the barn (left) and main building (to the right). The holiday house is situated in the back. Guests are allowed to drive up to the house (loop system) to unload the car. Please drive slow as their may be participants, staff or animals on site. Our holiday house " Green fields" is situated on a farm in a rural green area. Quiet and green surroundings with access to hiking-and biking trails. Only a 20/30min drive away from the cities of Bruges or Ghent. Parking available on site near the entrance. Guest are allowed to drive up to the house to unload the car. No public transport nearby except for a small public bus service (only upon reservation through the company and this ahead of time!). This little holiday house has been a long dream coming. 't Veldzicht vzw, organising activities for people with dissabilities, always wanted to create a holiday spot where people could come and relax on the farm. In 2019 this dream became a reality: a holiday spot where guests can not only enjoy the house but little extra's that the farm has to offer. Farm 't Veldzicht is open for activities from Monday until Friday from 9am until 4 pm. After 4 pm and during the weekends guests will be alone on the farm (except for volunteers coming to feed the animals).
