The Pig Patch, Tatchbury Manor Farm New Forest

The Pig Patch is based at Tatchbury Manor Farm a working farm situated on the edge of the New Forest close to the M27 and easy access to many attractions. The two bedroom unit is tastefully refurbished to include a verandah with full cooking and eating outside area. We are a working farm which can be visited when accompanied by someone from the farm but please expect farm smells and noises.Our check in days are Mondays and Fridays offering long weekends week bookings Monday-Friday. The verandah adds an American feel with seating and dining area outside including BBQ, Sink, preparation area and fridge. Inside a fully equipped kitchen includes a brand new hob, cooker and Nepresso coffee maker along with kettle, toaster, microwave. Every stay will receive a welcome hamper with the basics ready for you. We are always available should you need any help. We provide a list of locations, and there is a footpath through the copse opposite the farm gateway. As a farm we also operate a farm shop open on Friday and Saturday each week with our own home reared meat, farm grown veg or locally sourced vegetables and other goodies. All can be ordered prior to your stay via the web site. Tatchbury Manor Farm, is on the edge of the New Forest National Park and a 5 minute drive to Paultons Park, Peppa Pig World. Along with extensive walking or cycling routes there are other local attractions including Beaulieu Motor Museum, Longdown Activity Farm, or the Wildlife Centre all close by. Lepe or Calshot beaches are a 30-40 minute drive away. You can also visit Winchester, Salisbury both have beautiful cathedrals and many other attractions within a 30 minute drive for those rainy days. The farm is close to many roadways to Lepe or Calshot beaches. Being situated on the edge of the New Forest you can easily access many roadways by bus, car or bicycle. The local pub is a 10 minute walk from the farm and caters for children. There is limited public transport available, a bus does run at the end of the lane a 5 minute walk away but is not regular.
