At the second level (10 steps), there are an open space room with two closeable beds and a quite big kitchen and dining room full equipped, while at the third level (5 steps) there are a double sleeping room and a second bathroom. The house has been completely renewed in year 2000 and it has electric power, hot water, drinkable water and full gas heating. Italian TV with DVD reader. It is comfortable up to six people. It is possible to park the car very close (20 to 200 mt,) In the streets all around it is possible to buy everything in a lot of different kind of shops, restaurants, pubs. Pescasseroli is the Headquarter of ABRUZZO NATIONAL PARK, with a Museum and a Zoo, were you can see a couple of all the kinds of the animals living free into the Park: bears, wolves, eagles, wild goat, lynxes, etc. Just outide of the village, nature is protected and you may walk, bike or ride in woods, valleys or paths. There are also a public covered swimming pool and a cinema. There is also a hang gliding take off point after Forca d'Acero Pass (15 Km far away), along the Sora-Forca d'Acero National Road. Notwithstanding of Pescasseroli is a mountain village, it is completely in plain and very confortable for walking and biking. It has a characteristic and charming look. The Villagers (about 2.500) are very kind and almost every house, in summer, has flowers at the windows. In winter a lot of ski-lifts work no more than 2 Km far away from the village: you can practice alpine ski in such a place, and nordic ski everywhere into the Park. It's possible to rent every equipment you need. Pescasseroli is between Rome and Naples: no more than 2 hours (150 Km) by car. Adriatic Sea and Pescara Airport, that you may reach with RyanAir's cheap flights, are 100 Km far away only. There is also a little lake (Lake of Barrea) suitable for bathing, 20 Km. far away.
