Short term let - self contained annex

The Professor Suite is a bespoke, self contained annex which forms part of our home. The suite is complete with full bathroom and a separate toilet/sink off of the bedroom. The suite has a mezzanine with floor mattresses, which can be used if extra guests are visiting with you. The suite is cleverly designed to get the best use out of the space. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as we do! The suite is attached to our house, so we are next door should you need us. Includes a parking spot also. Guests can use the Professor Suite. The rest of the house is private. Parking for Airbnb guests is strictly on-street only. There is plenty of on-street parking. Please note that the driveway is shared with the house next door and they will clamp if people park on their side of the drive. The driveway for my property is reserved for permanent residents only. The street parking is plentiful and is not on a main road. Please park considerately and do not block neighbouring drives. We want you to be comfortable and are happy for you to contact us with enquiries and issues. If there are any problems with the property then please get in touch whilst you are here so we can help you straight away :) There is a Tesco Express opposite the house! We are very close to the canal and the cycling/walking routes. The Plough pub is a ten minute walk down the canal. Caldecott Lake is a 30 minute walk away and boasts a great pub for alfresco dining! You'll need to take a taxi/bus/drive into the MK shopping centre. The postcode to check for the location is MK6 3DA A taxi from the train station is roughly £6. (Website hidden by Airbnb) There are good bus routes, cycle routes around Tinkers Bridge. Please note that the extra beds are on a mezzanine which is accessed via a ladder built into the book case. Good mobility will be required to access the mezzanine. If this is not possible for you then please do contact us in advance and we can discuss whether we are able to make reasonable adjustments. If there are two guests staying then we will make up the main bedroom or will make up the bedroom and the mezzanine. If you are not comfortable with the mezzanine and would prefer the downstairs sofa bed made up, then please specify when booking. Not all of the Velux windows have blinds as we like to wake up with the sunshine. The under-counter kitchen lights are low energy and are designed to be on all of the time. This may affect the person sleeping on the sofa bed. If you are sensitive to light then we’d recommend bringing eye masks! The washing machine takes tablets in the drum - you cannot access the soap tray due to location. The Velux in the bedroom is a fire escape and needs to be opened slowly otherwise it will fully open and is hard to close.
