Perfectly situated to explore East Kent and near to Canterbury and Dover. Great beaches and castles within a 20 minute drive. The lodge is ideally situated for Lydden Hill Race Circuit, and cross Channel ferries to France. Towns of Deal, Sandwich, Margate, Folkestone and Whitstable are close by. Modern comfortable 2 bedroom Lodge, with central heating for all year comfort. Fully equipped kitchen with seating area. Lounge with corner sofa, arm chair, electric fire, TV and Wifi. One double bedroom with en-suite cloakroom. One twin bedded room ideal for children. Separate shower room with toilet and basin. Private outside seating area overlooking farmland. Key safe entry code will be given with booking. We live adjacent to the paddock but will give guests complete privacy and sole use of the paddock. Located on the outskirts of Shepherdswell village. Pub and small co-op in village, larger supermarket within 10 minutes drive. Children’s playground and football field in village. Mainline railway station with trains to London, plus the East Kent Railway visitor attraction with woodland walks, cafe and leisure train rides in the village. Lots of public footpaths and access to the North Downs Way. Guests will need their own car due to semi rural location. Parking on site. Mainline railway station with free parking 2 minute drive. Cross channel ferries to France within 15 minutes drive. Park and ride facilities for Canterbury 10 minute drive. Lots of countryside footpaths. Please be aware that building works at a neighbouring property may be ongoing throughout 2022. The works are adjacent to the paddock that the lodge is situated in. This may cause some disturbance during your stay.
