Four bedroom comfortable family seaside home in the centre of Whitstable for up to 8 guests, with a sunny garden. Set over 3 floors, this lovingly refurbished house is perfect is perfect for families and large groups, including the dog. Take your boots off in the hallway and warm your toes up in the main living room next to the open fire. Why not grab yourself a board game or good book from the second living room and enjoy some together time on the large dining room table whilst the dinner is cooking. In the summer you can enjoy the sunny garden adorned with leafy plants and table and chairs for dining alfresco. Up one flight of stairs there are two modern bathrooms; 1 with a bath, basin & WC and the other with a walk in shower & sink (there is an extra cloakroom on the ground floor too). You will also find a twin bedroom and double bedroom to the rear, and the large master bedroom with a queen bed to the front of the house. The attic twin bedroom is perfect for the kids with lots of toys and books to choose from. Please Note: The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, so please no rowdy parties!!! The town is at one end of the road and the beach is at the other. There is free street parking. There is free street parking on the road and surrounding roads. The nearest paid parking is Shaftesbury Road car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc. There are frequent busses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along Harbour Street, High Street, Oxford Street etc. The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Whitstable Taxi services are available for short fares or airport runs. The nearest airports are in London and the nearest Ferry port is in Dover. CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19: If we have a national lockdown you can either move your booking to another date or cancel and receive a full refund. If you contract COVID-19 you can move your booking to another date upon proof of a positive PCR test.
