Cosy stylish 2p holiday home in quiet village

This comfortable 2 person recently renovated barn house with private garden and more than an acre of shared garden is located at the border of the quiet medieval village Le Sap. You get a stylish studio-like holiday home with downstairs a living, dining and kitchen area and a separate modern bathroom. The bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. Bed and bath linen are included. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas-cooker, fridge (with freezing compartment) and dishwasher and other utensils. The bedroom is upstairs, the double bed is 2m x 1.60m and there is a large wardrobe. In the bathroom (downstairs) you'll find a Italian rain shower, two wash basins and the toilet. The holiday home is located at the left side of a larger renovated barn. The owners live at the other side of the same building at the far right. The holiday home has its own entry with a private fenced garden. The renovated barn is situated on a larger terrain, with on the other site (100m) another holiday house. You have access to the large (4000m2) shared garden, where you can also park your car. We are present to welcome you when you arrive and we are available for questions or advice about what to see and do in the area. The Normandy beaches of the historical D-Day landings are about an hour drive from here. Closer by you'll find the beautiful chateau 'Vendeuvre' with landscaped water gardens and the largest collection miniature furniture in the world. Also nearby is Falaise castle, the childhood home of William the Conqueror. Other memorable ways to spent a day are visits to Bayeux, with its magnificent hand worked tapestry, majestic cathedral and many restaurants or, though a little further away, Monet's house and gardens at Giverny. You will need a private car to get around, hardly any public transport is available. No smoking, no parties.
