Quiet Country Home with a first class breakfast

This modern Eco House is set in it's own private garden with patios and seating areas outside. There is plenty of parking on the property which is secured with electric gates. The house is modern and spacious. Warm and welcoming in the colder months with a log burner and underfloor heating. Light and airy in the warmer months with patio doors from the sitting room, kitchen and breakfast room. The bedrooms are spacious and thoughtfully furnished. I live in the house. I prepare and serve breakfast for my guests and am happy to provide picnics, lunch and dinner when requested. Special dietary requirements can be catered for when notice is given. The house in located on a very quiet no through road on the outskirts of the village of Blingel. Our nearest main town, Hesdin is a 7 minute drive by car. The lovely coast is nearby ( a 30 minute drive) The house is set in it's own grounds, where guests can sit in the garden and enjoy the quiet of the countryside with pretty views. The is ample secure parking. The property has electric gates and a security system. Guests have sole use of the first floor comprising 1 double room, one double room with a single bed, one single room and a large family bathroom with shower and bath. Visitors also have sole use of the lounge, dining room and breakfast room. The kitchen is well equipped and can be used by guests. I will be available during your stay. I am English (and speak French) I am a professional chef so you can look forward to an excellent fresh breakfast to include homemade preserves, breads, croissants and toast, fresh fruits and yogurt. Dinner, lunch and picnics are available on request and special dietary requirements can be catered for. Where possible we use local produce and try to source organic ingredients. Situated in a quiet, rural neighbourhood, near the historic town of Hesdin which has a great market every Thursday. There is a wide variety of shops and some good restaurants and bars in Hesdin. Great area for walking, cycling, kayaking and golf. A 70 minute drive from Calais (just off the Paris road) A 30 minute drive to the coastal town of Le Touquet or you can enjoy a drive up the picturesque Somme Valley. There is a local bus service. Towels and bed linen is included, as are hairdryers.
