The Old School House Liphook - hot tub & tennis ct

The Old School House is a traditional and cosy one bedroom detached cottage in the grounds of our home on the western edge of Liphook village in Hampshire. Easy car access, just off the A3 and south of the Hindhead tunnel. The village has a train station. Situated in the South Downs National Park and ideally located for the market towns of Haslemere, Farnham, Petersfield and Alton, it is only 25 minutes from Goodwood. Great countryside and lots on offer locally for holiday or break. The cottage is within a secure and gated property with parking and extensive grounds. Features include: central heating, log burning stove, TV (including sky movies/sports), wifi, King sized bed with luxury bedding, a fully equipped kitchen with oven and washing machine, a shower room, private patio and lovely decked area off the bedroom and small secure garden with table and chairs. Liphook is well located, just Off the A3 with easy access via road or train to London approx 1 hr and to the coast approx 30 minutes. There is plenty to see and do in the area which is located on the edge of the South Downs national Park so the countryside is beautiful with many walks/cycle/ riding routes. We are also near the town of Haslemere which has some lovely independent shops and is well worth a browse. Goodwood is 25 minutes away for horse and car racing events. Neaby Midhurst offers Polo. There are a number of good pubs in and around the village, our local being the best in our view, The Deers Hut which is just a 5 minute walk. This pub is very popular for food so early booking is advised. There many excellent golf courses in this part of Hampshire/Surrey; Liphook and Hindhead are nearby, whilst Old Thorns Golf and Country Club is just around the corner, as is Champneys spa. Larger shopping areas are available in Guildford to the north and Gunwharf Quay outlet stores in Portsmouth to the south, both about half an hours drive. A car is the best option although we are approx 25 minute walk to the train station in Liphook which takes approx 1 hr 15 mins to London Waterloo. You can walk to the pub as it’s 5 minute away.
