Leslie's Private Paradise

Leslie's Private Paradise offers three separate, self-contained hardwood cabins and a family-sized swimming pool on the fringe of a lush tropical rainforest in the village of Teakettle, just minutes away from Belmopan, the capita City of Belize. The individual cabins are separate and apart, occupying their own private space. Each cabin has a large verandah, complete with hammock, where you can commune with nature and view open spaces where the many species of birds as well as the tropical flora and fauna abound. Guests have access to large lawns, hiking in the rainforest, a family-sized swimming pool with sundeck and music system. There is also an old-fashioned wood-burning fire-hearth to provide you with a traditional and memorable cooking experience. Your hosts Bobby and Bernadette Leslie live on the premises and are available at all times to cater to your every need. We are just minutes away from Belmopan (perhaps the smallest capital city in the world); but the neighbourhood is rural and peaceful where most residents are either farmers or craftspeople. There are small bars, eateries and grocery shops within easy access. We recommend you rent a car for the duration of your visit; but small taxis run regularly from a nearby bus stop, and the bus stop serves as a hub for public transportation to all parts of the country. Guests are allowed to entertain on the premises. Since this is a diy experience, you are expected to cook your own food and provide your own drinks. Cabins have a kitchenette with tabletop stove, refrigerator, microwave and other facilities.
