Spectacular Ano Syros

Our apartment is situated in Ano Syros, a 5 min drive from the port. The flat is welcoming with its minimalist design, high ceilings and sea views from the living room and garden. The view of the port from the garden is stunning and becomes 'magical' at night. You can relax in our beautiful garden and enjoy alfresco dinning. Syros is a unique place, as it combines neoclassical and vernacular architecture, stunning beaches, plenty of open air cafés, bars, open air cinema and museums! The space for the holiday let is a self-contained apartment set out on two levels. Bedroom and bathroom are located on the ground floor, which is about 25 sq.m. big. On the first floor, the kitchen, diner and lounge are situated. In the living room area you will find a traditional sofa bed that accommodates 2 people. This floor is around 45 sq.m. big. It has amazing views of the port of Hermoupolis and gives direct access to the shared garden area. The shared garden, is about 60 sq.m. big and has spectacular views over the harbor, ideal for alfresco dinning! 5 mins drive from the port of Syros and 15 min walk to the heart of Hermoupolis (port). Taxis are fairly priced and cost around 4-5 euros from Hermoupolis Ano Syros is a medieval settlement build on a hill, overlooking the port and the bay of Hermoupolis (main town). It preserves its castle-like planning with narrow, paved streets that are car free. White washed vernacular architecture at its best, with picturesque views and amazing walks to be had, little shops with hand made crafts from local artists, traditional cafes, charming bars and couple of restaurants to enjoy great food. It's a unique place, tranquil and very relaxing! Ano Syros is a 15 min walk from Hermoupolis, where the port is and the closest beach to the apartment. Parking is at the entrance to the settlement, and the flat is about 5 min walk from it ( about 70 steps). There is a free bus that runs from Hermoupolis on certain hours and taxis are fairly priced.
