The Granary

The Granary is a cosy little cottage with exposed beams. It has a kitchen and living room with wood burner and underfloor heating. Upstairs is a good sized bedroom with double bed and bathroom. It has its own private garden and parking. The Granary is a very cosy little cottage built in around 1800. It has been renovated over the past 3 years which includes underfloor heating, Double glazing. You can look out of the french doors to see open fields and lay in bed and see the stars. Guests will have total access to the granary with its own private garden. The garden consists of a gravel and grass area with table and chairs to sit and enjoy the garden . From the garden the path will take you to the parking area. We live on the other end of the house so will be mostly around if you need anything. Hardwick is a very small village with no shop or pub. Although there is a farm shop with a cafe about 2 miles away. The nearest supermarket is at Long Stratton which is 2.5miles away. Hardwick is very rural ideal for a nice peaceful break. There is not a bus service in the village but is in the next village which is Hempnall which is 3 miles away. It only takes 20 minutes to get to Norwich by car. The north Norfolk coast is just over an hour away and well worth a trip. If you like cycling it's perfect around the country roads. The woodburning stove in the granary is supplied with enough wood for 2 fires, If any guests need more wood we can supply them ar extra cost.
