Lane House Barn is a newly renovated barn conversion set in 15 acres of beautiful pastureland up high in the Caldervalley hills! We are a working sheep farm with an abundance of other livestock and wildlife in the stunning backdrop of Hebden. Your stay will be peaceful and serene, if you book in March/April you're more than welcome to help with lambing! It is a modern, well equipped self catering space. Mountain bikers & equestrians welcome. Horse accommodation also available. Bike wash too! Typically traditional All you would need for a relaxing break. Open space to relax outside and the use of our BBQ hut for an additional cost. (Please request at time of booking) We have plenty of animals to entertain you on your stay, unfortunately we cannot accept dogs due to being a working farm. There is a terrace for evening relaxing and an abundance of space to while away the hours. Getting to us is at times difficult. We are at the end of a bridleway. We are totally accessible - just take it slowly. Trains and buses are near and pick up/drop off is available upon request We ask you call ahead so we can guide you in safely. The space is yours. There is parking outside the barn and steps directly to and from the farm. The main farmhouse is next door, and we are always on hand for advice. Please note if bringing horses. Trailer only as access is limited. (Support available please contact us) We will share your stay with you or not. We're busy most days - but we will share with you all of the great places to visit!! There is space for bike storage, horse livery if you chose to bring them along. We have local maps and advice as we do both activities. We can prepare evening meals if required. (A farmers wife has to be a good cook!!!!) The road into the farm is bumpy, you just need to take your time. It's absolutely worth it when you arrive. Views to die for!! Low suspension cars will not make it to the farm, but we can arrange to collect from the bottom of the track if needed Walks are truly fantastic here. We have maps to share with you. If you have a car, the possibilities are endless, if not, bring good shoes and walking boots! Bikes, horses are welcome. Hebden and Todmorden are a few miles away, there will never be a dull moment, we promise you!, Our fees do not include. Use of BBQ HUT (£35 extra) Pick up & drop off (£8 pp) for local towns Hebden Bridge & Todmorden.
