Charming French Escape - Dordogne & Lot
"Las Vignotes de Lea" is a charming home located in the idyllic countryside of Payrac, Lot Valley - South-West France. Nearby you can discover medieval cliff-top villages, ancient chateaux, Romanesque abbeys and prehistoric caves. You can also savour local delicacies including truffle, duck and foie gras, and visit local wineries famed for Malbec. The Lot River and nearby Dordogne river are perfect for family picnics, swimming and boat trips and there are plenty of walking/biking trails. Our house is located perfectly for visiting some of the country’s prettiest villages – consistently voted as such by the Routard Guide! Rocamadour, La Roque-Gageac, Saint-Cirque Lapopie, Beynac, Autoire, Domme, Sarlat…. The house is newly built on 1.5 acres of land with magnificient views and just a short stroll to Payrac village where you will find shops and some local pubs and restaurants. The house features a master bedroom with breathtaking views and plenty of storage. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a double mattress at the bottom so accommodating 3 persons if needed. The brand new kitchen is equipped with microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, oven and a complete set of kitchenware and dinnerware. The living room has a woodburning stove, perfect for the cosy nights in and we've provided board games and playing cards so you can enjoy quality time together. The couch also converts into a double bed sleeping another two people. The bathroom has a walk-in power shower and there is a separate toilet. If you're travelling with a baby we can also provide a baby bath, high chair and cot - just let us know what you need. Our house has plenty of outdoor space to chill out with a pool, outdoor dining table, BBQ and sun chairs. It's extremely private and peaceful. Please be assured we are now taking extra precaution with cleaning due to COVID-19. For added convenience, we can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. We look forward to welcoming you.
