Due to the extraordinary circumstances of the coronavirus we are offering our pub as a rental property for the exclusive use of family or friends who value fresh air and time together in the country, with plenty of country and costal walks. We are perched above the Pevensey Levels next to the village church between Herstmonceux Castle and Pevensey Castle, with fabulous cycling all around, and you may also bring well behaved dogs. You have exclusive use of a former Coaching Inn, the Inn will NOT be open to the public. The Inn has wifi and televisions in all 6 bedrooms. Use of a commercial kitchen with fridge, deep freeze, 6 ring gas oven and all equipment associated with a commercial kitchen, a proper chefs kitchen.The courtyard garden has a wood fired pizza oven tables & chairs, and is secure for both children and dogs. The panelled backroom has a table tennis table and wall mounted 55inch television with comfortable seating. This can be cleared to create a large fitness, dining or work space. We also have a much loved vinyl record player. The Inn lies on the North side of the Pevensey Levels with the coastal towns of Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne within easy. These coastal towns offer Art Galleries & Museums; Hastings Museum and Art Gallery & Jerwood Contemporay , Bexhill's De La Warr Pavillion and Eastbourne's Towner Art Gallery, plus lots of independent shops. Nearer, there is an M&S convenience garage & Starbucks within 5 minutes drive. There are lots of country walks and cycling all around us with a dairy farm behind the pub, plus stunning beach walks are only a 10 minute drive away at Normans Bay & Pevensey Bay, as seen on ITV's recent drama 'Flesh & Blood'. We are 20 minute drive away from National Trust, Cuckmere Haven and the chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters country park. Our Nearest Station is Polegate on the Brighton Line with Victoria as our London Terminal. The Lamb Inn has its own large private car park.
