Catskills Chalet #1, Tannersville

Located just off Main St. and nearby to great hiking and skiing at Hunter Mountain. Our home is a 2 family vacation rental duplex with each side offering two story living, as well as private and common outdoor areas. Enjoy comfort and convenience, all while surrounded by the beauty of the Catskills. We are 6 miles from Hunter Mountain, and less than a mile to the nearest trail-head. We have set our home up with love and attention to detail, and we welcome you (and your pet) to our cozy chalet. This space is essentially brand new! An 80 gallon water heater was just installed (Feb. 2020) to accommodate large groups and provide the maximum amount of hot water possible. All mattresses, towels, linens, pillows, kitchen appliances and cookware are all brand new (November 2019)! You can expect comfort and cleanliness in an atmosphere that feels like home. We welcome pets to our home to make sure no family member gets left behind. :) We offer high speed internet and a Netflix account for tv entertainment. We are located in a prime location, no more than 10 minutes from the top destinations in the area. The main living space is located on the second floor - kitchen, living room, dining room, 1 bathroom, and 1 bedroom. The main entry is a lower level entry and there are 3 bedrooms, large bathroom and the laundry area on the first floor. One flight of stairs to the 2nd floor. We do NOT have a working fireplace, it is boarded closed with a design feature. We like to make sure we can tailor to the needs of our guests and provide you with the best possible experience. Before booking, we ask for a few details to make sure our space is right for you! 1. Will you be bringing a pet? If so, please let us know if they are well trained, and if you plan on crating them while you are away for extended periods of time. *Please note, we do require a $50 additional charge for each pet, maximum of 2. 2. Please describe the dynamics of your group - family, group of friends. etc. 3. If you have any questions or have any additional needs or requests, please include those in your inquiry message. Our primary home is located only minutes away. You can always reach me by text, messenger, or phone call. We are located on a quiet family and pet friendly street. The chalet is on .6 acres in a neighborhood setting, situated between family homes and small businesses. You will need your own vehicle - a standard sedan is suitable for 3 out of the 4 seasons. AWD is recommended for the winter months. We do have a taxi service available. *We have the highest residential WiFi speeds offered in our area. For guests who want to work from home, the WiFi is more than sufficient. I work from home full time on multiple platforms with the same internet package and have no issues. *The service fee for reservations is NOT set by us. This is a charge by Airbnb, paid exclusively to Airbnb, not to us as hosts. We are also charged a service fee for every booking.
