THANK YOU Our one floor renovated home is located in the mist of beautiful country living with nurseries, roses fields, historical sites. The home was built in local blue stones and bricks before 1830 ! It has a modern fireplace that swings on itself ... The security deposit is NOT to be paid. It is only a security IF something is broken! Internet access is available across the street, at the owner's house. It has historical ceiling with wood beams and was completely renovated with modern kitchen and bath and designed for two people. It is opened to south exposure and has a private garden. It is located at 5 km to the historical city of Tournai, half an hour drive from Lille in France, and just in between Bruxelles and Paris . Unlimited walking, hiking, bicycling routes right from the step of the house !!! in the heart of the Parc Naturel des Plaines de l'Escaut - and the Parc Naturel de la Scarpe - in France. The kitchen has everything for your cooking pleasure. The bathroom has a shower and bath. Bed sheets and bath linens are furnished. Guests have their own privacy and a small private garden with table and chairs. We will interact with our guest following their own interest, from just a little introduction to the home to ... more as they wish. It is located near beautiful other towns such as Brugges, Mons ( Cultural Capital of Europe for 2015 ), Gand, Bruxelles, Lille and Paris in France ... The marvellous coast in the north of France - " la Côte d'Opale " is only 1 h and 15' drive from the house with a particular attention to the Cap Blanc and Cap Gris Nez area Tournai has a train station. There is limited bus access to the village. There is secluded parking available. We have bicycles available. The airport is located one and half hour drive from the home. There is no computer in the home and no TV. There is a radio/cassette. There are free wood available for the fireplace. The neighborhood is very quiet and rich for numerous unlimited walks in the country. It is situated on the GR route #123 and on the "Chemin de Compostelle ". The owner's garden is across the street and is very secluded with paths for discoveries and full of surprises, corners, little islands of different plantations, areas with stone benches to sit, read or dream... Local restaurants ( the Millesisme, Sel et Poivre, Pizza maison ... ), les " Vergers de Brunehaut " ( pears and apples ), local strawberries, local beers ( La Brunehaut ) are just a few steps away ... Wifi available across the street at the owner's house; and in the garden of the guest house. Two areas with low beams !!!! people higher than 1m84 expected to bend at those areas ...
