Beautiful barn house

On our property ‘Hof ter Linde’, we renovated part of the old, monumental barn and turned it into a cosy holiday house. We welcomed our first guests in October 2018. You will have private access and the house all for yourself, including a nice well equiped kitchen, living area, two bedrooms, modern bathroom and outdoor terrace overlooking the organic food garden. The cities Middelburg and Vlissingen are nearby, and you are close to the seaside/beach. Enjoy the nature, silence and fresh air! We live on the property and can be easily contacted if needed. The farmhouse is located on the east side of a six hectare property, Hof ter Linde in Welzinge, a hamlet located just outside Ritthem in between historic Middelburg and the coastal city Vlissingen. The house overlooks the permaculture garden and a natural pond and provides views over the countryside. A nature campsite is located in the food forest at the west end of the property. We enjoy living and working in the scenic and quiet natural environment of Welzinge, yet all amenities of mid sized cities like Middelburg or Vlissingen are at cycling distance, as is the Westerschelde waterway. At high tide ships can be seen passing behind the dyke, approximately two kilometres south of the farmhouse. If you travel by public transport it’s easiest if you rent a bike at the trainstation in Middelburg or at Cycle shop Boone in Oost-Souburg. Bedsheets and kitchen linnen are provided, please bring your own towels.
