Play and sleep next to old farm/water (+++central)

Only for families: Enjoy holiday with the kids on a perfect central location in the West of Holland. By car you reach within half an hour most famous attractions Holland has to offer or just walk/bike to the lakes, fields and mills. Right from the house/terrace you've got view on the fields (+ 2km view!) and the water. Chickens, ducks, sheeps, a dog and a cat live on the farm. House is perfect for families with 1-3 kids* (trampoline, hinges, , go-karts and big private wharf to play). You will arrive at an old farmers wharf, where the old farm "Hoeve de Wetering" from 1811 still remains like years ago. On the wharf you can find a few old farm structures like the haystack, barns etc. Next to the old farm you will sleep in the round former manure silo which recently (2018) is rebuild to 2 cosy houses. You will stay in the rural and industrial one (right side, waterside). The water is a long the silo fenced with a small safe fence for children. The house in the silo is suitable till 5 persons* (5th family member on an extra bed, on request a 20,- p/n., for a baby ask for the free babybed if needed) * groups other than families, only possible in consultation. The house has the following floorplan: Living room with kitchen, hall, bathroom with toilet and 2 sleeping rooms. Masterbedroom with a kingsize bed and space for a babybed. Second sleeping room with bunk bed for (bigger) kids (2 sleeping places + one extra to reserve) and space for a babybed. Bathroom: with excellent shower (cabin), sink, toilet and washing machine. Kitchen: Induction stove, combi-oven, Senseo coffeemachine, fridge and dishwasher. Outside you'll find garden furniture, fishing jetty and a big trampoline (not in wintertime), playhouse, hinges, (probably also a sandbox soon) on the big wharf where they can play private (we also have other toys with wheels where the kids can play with). Or take the small boat for a little rowing thru the ditch. In short, the silo house and the yard with all its playing facilities is ideal for two or a family with 1-3 children. Also certainly suitable for seniors. Our silo house is quiet area and very centrally located and therefore an ideal base for various excursions. Parking on our own wharf. You can park your own bikes dry on the property. When you need rental bikes, there is a "local" rental in the neighbourhood. We like to help you to arrange this if you want. We also have a few bikes for rent, please ask for them in time. Bike routes and bike path run past the farm. Public transport is around 1,5 km (20 min. walk) The house is completely yours. Outside you have to split the wharf and kids toys / trampoline with eventually other guests from the other house. Because there are lots of things to do, we see this happens not that often / is no problem because of the 2000 m2 there is to split. The neighbours are there if you have any questions. If the chickens have laid there eggs, there is maybe one spare, so ask for it. Go get on your bike right from the wharf and explore the fields / mills, animals and lakes. Or go for diner at one of the good local restaurants in the neighbourhood. By car or bike you can go everywhere. Even you own brought canoe can get wet here for a trip to one of the lakes. To reach public transport you will need quite a walk (20 min.). The bigger cities (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Haarlem), de Keukenhof, and beaches (Scheveningen, Noordwijk, Zandvoort, enz.) and Schiphol Airport are all on a short distance, so you are central and also on a unique place. All the highlights of Holland within 30min driving! Amsterdam / Haarlem 25 min - Rotterdam 30 min - Keukenhof 20 min - Schiphol 15 min - Leiden 15 min - Braassemermeer or Kagerplassen 5 min - beaches Scheveningen, Noordwijk, Zandvoort 30 min. So you are central and also on a unique spacious place! Because we are so central in between the big cities, the rural farm with its big wharf is quite next to the highway. The noise from this is very low, almost all of our guests are okay with it. We mention it so you know what to expect. Supermarkets you can find in Hoogmade (Coop) or Roelofarendsveen (Vomar, Plus, Dirk). This is 10 min. by bike / few kms by car. Local products you can find in Rijpwetering itself (Landwinkel) or you can walk or bike to one of the cheese farms nearby. Good restaurants you can walk to: (<20 min.) in Rijpwetering (2x) or in Hoogmade (2x). Our advice: book in time. Our area is very famous for all its waters and has various options for boat rental and cruises. Our advice also: book in time. Good to know: we only rent our houses to couples, families with children or groups who only come for peace and quiet. Parties / noise is absolutely not allowed.
