Quaint barn cottage in the heart of the Peaks

**Get away from it all** Our delightful semi-detached barn conversion is set around a pretty courtyard in the centre of Over Haddon village, close to Bakewell in the Peak District National Park. Our beautifully decorated and furnished cottage will ensure you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Don your walking boots and explore the Lathkill Dale. There are many attractions in driving distance, including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Matlock, Castleton and Alton Towers to name but a few. The cottage has two bedrooms. The king size bedroom (ground floor) has a comfy bed, double wardrobe, drawers and its own TV. Two full size single beds are located in the mezzanine upstairs. Ground floor shower room with large thermostatic shower, basin and WC. Kitchen and dining area, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave and local Denby pottery. Sitting room with squishy leather sofas, cushions and throws and an electric wood-burner effect fire, TV with freeview and Blu-ray. Electric central heating. Bed linen and one set of towels per guest included. Travel cot available. Get away from it all with no WiFi. Guests have use of the pebbled patio and grassed area immediately in front of the Cottage. The cottage is accessed via courtyard gardens, with uncovered pond - children to be supervised. The courtyard is for access only and not for recreational use. Please note: the cottage does NOT have wifi. Guests will be emailed an information pack with instructions on how to access the cottage and some tips to make the most of your stay. A handy folder at the cottage contains information on how to use gadgets, safety information and other useful tips. The quaint peak district village of Over Haddon is tucked away from the bustling crowds, with superb walks and scenery across the Lathkill dale and beyond. The nearest shop is around 2 miles away, a hotel with bar is located within 3 mins walk. Travel by car is recommended. Please note: the mezzanine level isn't a fully enclosed space and has waist height bannister. It is not suitable for children under 8 years old. Single beds are positioned within the cathedral ceiling space, which has limited head height.
