Royds Hall Cottage
Royds Hall Cottage is a 17th century, stone-built, semi-detached farmhouse, located on a hillside just on the outskirts of Haworth in a village called Stanbury. With wonderful views across Ponden reservoir and the surrounding fells, this is a truly amazing place to stay. The cottage combines both modern and traditional styles, providing first class accommodation of character and charm in the most enviable of positions. The spacious kitchen with dining area features dual-aspect windows to take advantage of the views and an archway leads guests through to the warm and cosy sitting room with a lovely woodburner. Upstairs, the cottage has two spacious bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the second with two Victorian single beds. Outside, the spacious patio terrace has lovely open views and provides an ideal location for a Summer evening barbecue or a place to relax, drink a glass of wine and watch the sun go down over the reservoir and the distant fells, the sunsets are very special. For those wishing to get away from it all and enjoy fine country living and beautiful walks, including Top Withens made famous by Cathy and Heathcliffe in Withering Heights, this is the perfect place to enjoy a break away.
