The property is adjacent to Garden Creek and enjoys frequent visits from several local deer. You are within minutes of gas stations, groceries, bars and restaurants. There are many hiking, rafting, fishing, & hunting locations nearby and many excellent UTV trails can be accessed without trailering. This is the perfect base for exploring Custer County. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home offers everything you need to enjoy your stay in Challis. It boasts a large open floor plan with lots of natural light and plenty of comfortable living and dining space. Enjoy expansive mountain views from the front deck. You will enjoy plenty of amenities including a fully equipped kitchen with full sized refrigerator, washer and dryer, step-in shower, bathtub, & BBQ grill. There is plenty of parking space so bring your toys. The house has with High-Speed Fiber Optic Wi-Fi Internet and a 43-inch TV with an abundance of channels to watch after a long day playing in the mountains. Situated on a 1 acre lot, there is plenty of room to roam and park. We live in Challis and will typically be available should any problem arise with the property. We are also happy to provide information about the area and things to do. The neighborhood is made up of large 1/2 plus area lots so the feel is semi-rural. We have neighbors but they are not 10 ft away! We doubt you will be spending much time in the neighborhood anyway with so much to explore. Visit the Land of the Yankee Fork State Park and Bayhorse townsite and remnants of the mining operations. If you feel like venturing out a little further, head the the Yankee Fork of the Salmon River and visit the Yankee Fork Dredge and the ghost towns of Bonanza and Custer. During the spring through fall seasons, visit the Challis Golf Course for lunch or dinner and enjoy the best view in town. The house is in a neighborhood so we ask guests to be mindful of excessive noise from 10 pm to 8 am.
